Nicole Konovaloff was born and raised in Sacramento, California. From the moment she could hold a pencil, she preferred to carry a pair of scissors or a makeup brush instead. She knew from a very early age that beauty was her calling and graduated early to attend beauty school as soon as possible. Afterward, she worked in salons and took advanced classes to hone her craft.

In 2016, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a freelance hair and makeup artist. Since then, she has collaborated with many reputable photographers and brands. Nicole continues to refine her skills by working with various artists. Some of the brands and clientele she has worked with include Free People, Nike, Beyond Yoga, Miranda Kerr, Courtney Cox, among many others.
